Reminder there is a track meeting on Monday.  Bus will go over after school.

The welcome home for the boys basketball team will be in Montrose at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21st.  The caravan will meet the team at the Montrose exit on I-90 at 12:50 p.m.

Thank you to the JrK/Kindergarten for your presentation at the Reading Rally last night.  You did a great job!

High School Track and 7th-8th Track practices will start on Monday, March 22nd.

Congrats to all the youth wrestlers that participated in the Region 5 tourney on Saturday. 

Youth Wrestling Practice is on Monday @ 7:00pm and Thursday @ 7:00pm.

Students:  The Board of Directors of the SDHSAA respectfully requests that all students remain seated while the game is in progress as a matter of courtesy to the fans in the reserved seat section.  Students will be allowed to stand in the bleachers under the baskets.  Temporary banners and signs of all kinds are prohibited by students and schools.  All types of noise makers, as well as any type of projectiles are prohibited.  Pennants, #1 fingers, homer hankies, towels are permitted.  Student supervision will be administered by the Sioux Falls Police Department and other school district officials.  Any inappropriate behavior will result in a student/s being removed from the arena.  The bottom line is to have fun, support the Fighting Cougars, be enthusiastic but respect and obey proper tournament etiquette. Have a good time and be safe.

9-12 grade:  Please sign up in study hall for the after prom party.  You need to sign up so we know how many gifts to buy.  You also need to sign up your out of town dates.

Mrs. Katzer has a sign-up sheet for tickets to the state tournament.  Adult tickets will be $32.00 and students will be $20.00.  This is for the entire tournament. See her ASAP to get signed up.

Today is the end of the third quarter.

7-12 students interested in golf this spring please sign up in study hall.

Jostens will be here to collect money for senior packets today.  If you are paid up you will receive your packets.

Congrats to the MCM Youth wresters at District's.  We had 30 young men enter the tourney and 29 of them finished in the top 8 to advance to the Region meet this Saturday Feb 13th at 10:00am. 

We want to thank all of the workers who volunteered their help on Saturday at the District 9 Youth Tourney.  You made a successful event.  Coach Andal and Sandine.

For sale MCM magnets and window clings.  They are $8.00 a piece.

Congratulations to the Montrose Jr. High Oral Interp Team.  Everyone should be proud of their strong performances. 

Floppy Cat and Ele Funny book orders from Read Across America Day are due March 9th.  You can give your order to your teacher who will pass them on to Mrs. Katzer.

Remember to hand in your construction camp registration forms today to Mrs. Katzer.  Registrations not handed in today will not go out until next Friday.  Remember the earlier the better chance you have of going.

Invitations will be handed out today for Construction Camp.  If you signed up for the camp at the beginning of the year, you should get an invitation.  Please hand these in as soon as possible.  There will only be 100 spots open for around 15 schools and we have 24 who were interested when we signed up. The registrations that arrive at SETI first will be the ones most likely to get accepted.  I will send registrations in on Fridays- starting on March 5th- through the end of the month.  Please turn them in to me when you have them completed and signed by your parents.  If you are 18, you may sign for yourself.

Congrats to the participants in last weekend's State B Wrestling tourney.  MCM finished in 18th place out of 45 teams.
